Hunter grew up on a farm north of Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 2015.  From there, she attended college in Granite Falls and Ridgewater College in Willmar. Hunter has worked various jobs that have revolved around the medical field and animals, and she joined the Dawson team in the spring of 2023.  Hunter is the mother of three children: Louie, 4, Briar, 1, and her husband Joe, 30. Hunter is obsessed with animals, according to her husband Joe.  She gives seven cats, three foxes, and two wolf dogs a place to reside on her homestead outside Big Bend. On her time off, she enjoys being outside and spending time with her family and animals.
